Our photographers are experienced in a wide variety of specialist areas, from automobiles to fashion and food. With such experts in-house, shoots can be planned and executed rapidly and reliably – ranging from a single shoot on location for a luxury brand to large volumes for a weekly flyer shot in our studios – it’s all possible.

Catalogues, web shops and weekly flyers need high-quality ‘tabletop’ product photos produced quickly in large numbers. A high-end, flagship product, however, needs the fine attention to detail that only a specialist can give. Combined with our flexible, in-house working methods and transparent logistics, this means lead times are super-short. In most cases, you can track your project’s progress online.

Long before the first photo is taken, our experts are working together with our in-house model agency to find the right model for your photos – whether you’re selling fashion, toys, lifestyle products or business services.

CREATING THE ‘WORLD’ OF YOUR IMAGE

Does your image or storyboard require special indoor surroundings? Any type of home interior or work setting can be created at Lukkien by our talented set-builders and stylists. What’s more, our vast studios and storage facilities (20,000 m2) enable us to keep and re-use sets, ensuring continuity in any follow-up shoots, and saving on rebuilding costs. Where appropriate, we can arrange shoots on outdoor or indoor locations, though we can recreate daylight settings in our studios, too – often a more economical option than arranging a shoot on location.

COMMUNICATING THE FASHION EXPERIENCE

At Lukkien, we understand the world of fashion and contemporary style. We know how to show off fabrics, right down to the thread, and how to best display their natural fall. With our fashion unit, we’ve developed a unique way of optimising fashion images for e-commerce purposes, complete with image cataloguing, digital asset management system and product data capture – all with rapid turnaround time.

KEEPING THE CAR IN THE SPOTLIGHT

It’s often said – and rightly so – that cars are one of the most challenging objects to photograph. At Lukkien, we have the right equipment (including a full-size dome studio and the very latest computer-generated imaging (CGI) software) and the best people (including photographers, lighting experts and image manipulation artists) to produce superb automotive images. More importantly, we have the passion, patience and experience to ensure that your car will always appear at its best. 

Food

IMAGES THAT ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT

Photographing food is a highly specialised business. How can you keep perishable items looking natural, appealing and appetising under the bright, hot lights in a studio? It’s a team effort between the photographer, food stylist, image manipulator and CGI expert. We have the right facilities and we know how to find the right people – making sure we get shots that make the mouth water.

Studio shoots

AT HOME IN THE STUDIO

Our photographers are experts in studio photography. They should be – we have a massive 20,000 m2 of studio facilities for them to work in. They’re used to shooting everything from trucks and cars, through couches and tables, to epilators and fine jewellery. Our set-builders, lighting technicians and stylists ensure the photographers have the complete freedom and support they need to work their creative magic. 

Location shoots

KEEPING THE UNPREDICTABLE COMPLETELY UNDER CONTROL

Shooting on location can be unpredictable. But at Lukkien, we don’t have to leave anything to chance. To make sure we arrive and can start promptly, we have our own truck for equipment, as well as an Airstream caravan, with accommodation for models and stylists, catering facilities and lighting. We’ve built up an extensive database of locations that continues to grow, thanks to our ongoing scouting activities. This makes it easy to find the perfect location for any type of photo.
